After a 6 year absence, the Iconic Salford Triathlon made its triumphant return to the Salford Quays area this past Sunday. With all major building work now completed, thousands lined the streets in attendance as more than 900 competitors tackled the new breathtaking course gaining local and national media coverage.
Working tremendously close with our client, Sunday provided to be the culmination of over 10 months hard work as the untitled™ team provided to be instrumental in delivering the brand’s identity, creation of the logo, developing the new website, providing race packs, signage plus much, much more.
With the event featuring four separate races, including a mammoth ‘Standard Distance’ race consisting of a 1.5km swim, 40km bike ride and a 10km run, the day was nicely topped off with our very own James Cox competing in the Sprint Event, who impressively finished 1st place within the 40-44 Age Group Category, and placed 16th overall.
The occasion provided to be a big success in exposing two of the brands we’ve developed for clients, not only the Salford Triathlon itself, but also the stand out triathlon club of the event, Knutsford Tri Club! We’re very much looking forward to next year!
